about

Apparat, aka Sascha Ring, will continue his Soundtracks series with his third release: Dämonen. Based on a theatre play by director Sebastian Hartmann of Dostoevsky’s Demons, Sascha wrote the soundtrack
and performed live with Philipp Thimm and Christoph Hamann as Apparat in 2015 at the great Schauspiel Frankfurt in Germany. In 2020, Sascha and Philipp re-recorded and arranged all of this material in Sascha’s studio in Berlin. A big music theatre! Dämonen was the second collaboration with Sebastian Hartmann after Krieg und Frieden (Tolstoy’s War and Peace) which led to the release of the Apparat album by the same name on Mute.
